Notice that the Profile Q&A page is now the PROFILES page – you can view your partner’s profile information there.
Remember also to check out your partner’s About Me information on Swap-bot to get a more in-depth feel for their likes and dislikes, especially as they relate to the spring-themed item you will send with your socks! As stated in the swap description, further information about the spring item contest and prize will be posted here in the next week.
Please also be sure to post about how your socks are coming; are you excited? Do you like them? Is it challenging for you or is it a breeze? We can also use this site to get help from each other if there’s something we get stuck on in the pattern, or to brag about having completed 3 pair in the first week because you fell in love with them!

If I can direct your attention to the left side of your screen…what fun is a swap blog without a button??!! So finally got one made for this site – well, okay, duh!, there’s 2 of them; the idea being to give each person a choice of which one they like better and wish to display on their own site (if you so desire). If you need some “how to” help getting a button on your blog/site, you can send an email to

Of course you don’t – you haven’t been assigned your partner yet, silly!
As we await that day, please go into the Profile Q&A to answer a few questions about personal preferences related to how you like your socks (i.e., tall/short, pink/blue, small/big foot). Completing the profile questions before (or as soon after as possible) everyone is assigned their partner will allow participants who are organized and/or can’t wait to get started the opportunity to get the right yarn purchased and get knittin’ right away.
We’re up to six participants and hope to have many more join over the next couple of weeks before the deadline!

What better way to celebrate spring – when everything becomes new again – than by making a pair of Saucy Socks and swapping them with a new friend! I saw this pattern and fell in love with the design combination of cables and lace; it’s both bold and beautiful…a sure sign of spring.
Participants can use this site to ask questions, get help if needed, show off your progress…and visitors can get information on what’s going on, how to join and see how much fun we’re having! I’ll also use this site to keep everyone aprised of relative information, changes, suggestions, etc.
For now you can click (at the top of the site) on Swap Rules for all the details and contact information, and on Dates At A Glance for a quick look at time frames and deadlines.
I hope you’re as excited as I am to “spring” 
into this saucy little adventure and see where and how far our creative juices can take us!
