Secret Swap Or Not? You Choose!

Hi everyone,
In the past when I’ve hosted swaps on swap-bot I always set them up as a secret swap (in fact, at the beginning when swap-bot started it was assumed that all swaps were secret – at least that’s how I remember it, I could be wrong). However, I neglected to indicate on the info page in swap-bot to keep it a secret so I think instead what we should do is have everyone respond to this post with a comment indicating whether or not they want to know who is sending them their socks.
Remember that the person sending you socks is NOT the person you are sending to.
I have the ability, as the coordinator of the swap, to see who is sending to whom including myself. But I’m holding off because let me tell you, it’s so fun to have it be a surprise. But that’s just me and I’m kind of goofy that way! (If you’ve already reached out to the person you’re sending to, don’t sweat it!! )

I like the surprise element as well, so unless whoever has my name has a need to get a hold of me for something me-specific, I’d prefer it to be a surprise!

OOOOOHHHH NNNOOOOO!!!! It didn’t say secret so I contacted the person I am knitting for with questions! It would have been more fun to keep it a secret, oh well. I would have to leave it up to whomever is knitting for me since I already spoiled it for my poor pal.

Being a secret swap is fine with me. I haven’t heard from my pal or contacted my pal.

Which is why I’ve decided not to post photos of my progress. I’m taking them, but not posting to the site until they are done. 
I want my person to be surprised. Although if she really wants to know/see, I suppose I can share. 
It’s super fun pattern though. I really like it!
